

Kerri Eileen Carson Allen; a mother, a grandmother, a sister, a daughter, a wife, a friend, sadly passed away in her sleep from a chronic respiratory illness on the morning of Sunday, February 2020. She was just 58 years old. Kerri, Keh, KC, Kit, Kerila, Aunt Kerri, AK, Momma; was born in Queens, NY on November 16th, in 1961. The fifth daughter of Barbara and John; Kerri Carson grew up in Pearl River. On April 4th, 1987, Kerri married Stu Allen at Bear Mountain, and the two raised their three children in New City. A quick-witted, beautiful, vibrant, creative, fun and fearless spirit to the very end, Kerri touched the lives of so many people due to her raw authenticity and caring nature. People gravitated to her smile. She was truly one of a kind.
Kerri’s friends and family will love and miss her for the rest of our days. She is survived by the love of her three children; Michael (Heather), Erik, and Carleigh (Danny), by the love of her granddaughter Annie, who lit up her life. She is survived by the love of her siblings, Debbie Hanzus (Keith), Sheila Breunig (Bob), Brenda Carson, and John Carson (Eileen). She is survived by the love of all of her nieces and nephews whom she loved so much. She is survived by the doting love of her partner Jack and her adopted sons Ryan and John. Kerri is survived by the love of her ex-husband and long-time friend, Stu, and his brother Joe. In her passing, she is finally reunited with loved ones that she had lost, including her sister Susan, and her sister-in-law Nancy. Kerri would want to be remembered as someone who inspired happiness in others, someone who was able to connect with anyone and everyone, and those who knew her knew they had a true friend in Kerri.

Services for Kerri Allen will be held on Friday, February 7th, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. 10956. In lieu of flowers; donations to honor Kerri’s memory can be made to any of the causes she cared about so deeply: St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Nancy’s Place, or The Boomer Esiason Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
