My Deepest Sympathy goes to all of you that had stayed so close and cared so much for my Uncle Lenny. I know in my heart he will be eternally happy now to be reunited with your Mom, just as they were when they first married. He adored and loved her so much that he once called me into their bedroom as your Mom was there getting ready to go out with him and said to me isn't she just beautiful. Your Mom was standing there saying the dress won't fit (since she was now pregnant with John) and there he was lying across their bed telling her it does not matter what she wears that she was beautiful. I never forgot that moment till this day . Through out my life it took me years and a move to England to find 
someone who felt that way about me. I feel ever so happy that he had such a great family as you Tommy and John to be surrounded by.  Again my deepest sympathy to all of you, Francine.

The Wally Westlake family would like to express our sincere condolences to the family.  For years our Father exchanged Christmas cards with Lenny and had many telephone conversations.  Our Dad passed away on September 5th, two months shy of his 99th Birthday.  Lenny and our Dad became friends through baseball. Our Dad played for the Pirates, Cardinals, Indians, and the Phillies. Golden era of baseball.
