Lina Tagliaferro

Lina (nee. Antolino) Tagliaferro entered into eternal rest on September 20, 2016. The daughter of Michael and Catherine (nee. Gallo) Antolino, she was born July 11, 1934 in Andretta, Italy. She joins her husband Lou and twin sister in Angie in heaven. She is survived by her children and their spouses – Vickie and Tommy Murray of Cornwall, Gary and Suzanne Tagliaferro of Cornwall and Catherine and Pierce Redmond of Bardonia. She has 10 grandchildren: Loren, Lindsay, Louis, Bianca, Leigha, Nicole, Danielle, Faith, Abigail, Louis, and Brenna and 6 great-grandchildren: Angelina, Bianca, Louis, Vivi, Scarlett, and Thomas.

She comes from a large family as well: Rose and Charlie Maisano, Angie and Buddy Morgese, Tony and Marianne Antolino, Angelo and Pat Antolino, Catherine and Jimmy Marino, many nieces and nephews, as well as her faithful caregiver Wanda. She loved spending time with her large family, especially Sunday dinners.

Services are scheduled for Thursday, September 22 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday September 23 10am at St. Anthony's Shrine Church Nanuet, NY. Followed by cremation at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, NY.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN.
