

Linda S. Blair Tambini, 69, formerly of Monsey, NY passed away peacefully on March 12, 2024 with her daughters by her side in Ocoee, Fl. Linda was surrounded by love and her family is comforted in the knowledge that she felt this love until her final moments.
Linda was born on July 9, 1954 in Aberdeen, Maryland. She moved to New Carlisle, OH as an infant where she spent her first decade on her family’s farm. In 1965 Linda moved to Spring Valley, NY. Linda stepped into a caretaking role following the loss of her mother at a young age, nurturing her two younger siblings.
Linda married the love of her life in July 1974, and a love story for the ages began. Linda was regularly showered with love and affection by her husband Joe. They spent many hours on their beloved boat cruising up and down the Hudson River. She enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint and loved to share the fruits of her labor with family and friends. Country line dancing was an all time favorite as well. The simpler things in life she loved most.
Linda had three daughters and was blessed with a grandson in 2005. One of her joys was watching him grow and participating in helping him become the young man he is.
Linda is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Tambini, Jr. formerly of Ocoee, FL. She is also survived by her daughters, Jacquelyn Tambini of Middletown, NY, Christina Tambini of Ocoee, FL, Nicole Tambini of Ocoee, FL, grandson, Anthony Tambini of Ocoee, FL, sister Mindee (Blair) Rouse of Goodyear, AZ, brother, Jeffrey Blair of New City, NY, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 22 from 4p – 8p at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. A Catholic mass will be held on March 23 at 10a at St. Francis of Assisi in West Nyack, NY, followed by burial at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Nanuet, NY.
