It is with great sadness that we announce Linda Pivonka's ( Vogel ) Family helped walk her into the hands of God on September 12, 2020. She was born March 8, 1964. The daughter to the late William & Elli Vogel. Linda worked for Rockland County Social Service's since 1986. She will be fondly remembered by many. Linda was a kind hearted individual who loved life and was always willing to help others, she had many hardships during her life but always moved forward and never let them get her down. She is survived by her loving husband William Pivonka and their two children Nicholas and Amanda as well as her sister Karin Diebold and her two brothers Fredrick Vogel and Robert Vogel, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A wake will be held Wednesday September 16 from 3-7 pm at Higgins funeral home in New City, NY 10956. Her funeral will be the next day 10:00 am September 17 at St. Francis of Assisi Church. 128 Parrott rd. West Nyack, NY 10994 Burial will be at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery 36 W Nyack rd. Nanuet, NY 10956

Please accept my condolences on the passing of your wife, mother, sister, and aunt...I remember Linda well growing up on Central Ave in New City...the neighborhood was like family back then...she was a very caring person and will certainly be missed.
