

Lucille Marie Albarelli of Nanuet, New York, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the age of 91 on Monday, November 25, 2024. Lucille was born in East Harlem, New York, on May 19, 1933, to Pasquale and Claire DeNome. She attended Central Commercial High School in New York.
On April 23, 1955, she married the love of her life, Joe, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. They moved to the Bronx, where they started their family. In 1972, Lucille and Joe relocated to New City, where they spent many happy years.
Lucille loved cooking, reading, playing cards with her friends, playing slot machines, solving crossword puzzles, and listening to the music of old blue eyes, Frank Sinatra. Lucille had various secretarial jobs throughout her life, but her most important role was being a warm and loving mother and "Honey" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her devotion to her family was endless.
Lucille is survived by her children Genevieve, Lisa (John), and Louis (Annette); her grandchildren Joseph, Danielle (Brendan), Marissa (Anthony), and Joseph (Sabrina); and her precious great-grandchildren Jackson, Dylan, Gianna, and Ava. She is also survived by her brother Pasquale DeNome and many nieces and nephews.
Lucille is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Joseph Albarelli; her grandson, Daniel James Albarelli; her brother Thomas DeNome; her sister Linda DeNome; and her sister-in-law Wanda DeNome.
She will live in our hearts forever. Rest in peace.
