I met Jun in high school about half a century ago.  We became friends and remained the best of friends ever since.  We shared most, if not all, of the significant events in our lives.  His passing away hurt me so much and I will miss him dearly. Jun was a CPA who was a very outgoing,fun-loving and gregarious person.  He loved parties and often took the initiative to plan and organize group gatherings.  Most often he made the parties livelier with his jokes and funny comments and his ability to make people feel comfortable easily gained him a lot of friends.  He also made sure that he kept in touch with everybody regularly. June loved to travel.  For several years now he spent winters in the Philippines dividing his time between Manila, Malaybalay, where his in-laws are and Roxas City where his 90-year old mother lives. He used the Philippines as his staging point for his trips to other Asian cities.  He shared his adventures with friends through facebook, emails and pictures. Next year's was to be a European tour with Cora.  He was so optimistic about the future and so full of life.  I was very fortunate that I was able to see and talk to him before his final passing.  While I am saddened that he is now gone, I am very thankful that I got to know such a very special person as Jun and shared a very solid friendship with him all thru the years.

Goodbye Jun. We all miss you!

Needless to say, I was shocked to hear about Manny's sudden passing. His absence will leave a big emptiness in many peoples lives. We shared a common interest in the sport of tennis. Manny will be sorely missed on the tennis courts and off. It was always great fun playing with and against him. He had a great sense of humor and was always an asset at cookouts and luncheons. My sincere condolences go out to Cora and family.

Life's journeys are full of memories.  I am happy to have met you and Cora.  My condolences to your family.

I'm very saddened by Manny's sudden passing.  We started at SGV in 1966, worked on numerous jobs together, and we left the firm about the same time five years later.  He picked me up at JFK when I first moved to NY. I will miss Manny, a very sincere and caring friend, but I'm also happy that he is now with our Lord.

We'll miss Manny, a happy-go-lucky guy who enjoyed life to the fullest.

Hi, my name is Joe Garrido and I worked with Jun at Sycip,Gorres,Velayo & Co. CPAs, Makati, PH more than 40 years ago. I remember him as a very professional staffmember then who always excelled in his work.  He contributed more beyond his audit work by expressing his professional opinions on his observations during audits.
More than our professional association during our SGV days, Jun became one of our family''s good friend when we both arrived in the US in the 70s.. While my family lives in the San Frncisco/Bay Area, California, and he lived in the East Coast, he visited us many times before he got married, and after, whenever his work brought him to the West Coast. The last time he visited us in San Francisco, we made trips to the wine Counties' various wineries,sipping and tssting wine along the way, and to the Muir Woods in Marin County. He took pictures for posting on his Facebook site. I always enjoyed his FB postings of his various travels around the World.
I last saw Jun at our SGV Raymundo-Anegles Group reunion in Las Vegas in April of this year, nine months ago. He was so full of Life, very engaging as a friend, telling numerous stories, and recalling funny incidents during his SGV days. He also proposed a Jan-2014 reunion to visit his City, Roxas City, go to Boracay and all the nice places in the Southern part of PH. To which we all agreed. That is why, it was shocking news for all of us to hear in the last week about his situation. We thought he was like Superman who would live a long Life. Jun, wherever you maybe, please know that we  your freinds, will forever cherish the brief monents we had together. Good by mty friend.

The world lost its favorite son much too soon. We are all diminished by his passing. He was someone's extraordinary husband, father, brother, relative, co-worker, friend... he was my best friend! I am sure that Jun would not wish for us to mourn his death. Instead, he would want us to celebrate his life! He cherished every waking moment and lived life like there was no tomorrow.

Rest well, my dear friend. You will not experience any pain any more. So long, Bok!!!
