Margaret Edwards

Margaret Edwards (nee Loggie), 86 years old passed away on March 19, 2022. Marge was a resident of New City from 1960 to 2010, and relocated to Highlands Ranch, Colorado to live with her daughter after the death of her husband. Marge was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 24, 1935 to James and Agnes Loggie. She graduated from Bay Ridge High School and married the love of her life Ronald Edwards on March 2, 1957. Marge work for the Clarkstown School District from 1970 to 1995. Many may remember her as the Secretary to the Athletic Director and then as the Secretary to the High North Principal. She is survived by her three daughters and their spouses, Leslie and Henry Chandler of Norfolk, VA, Lorraine and Greg Joyner of Zuni, VA, and Kristine and Vincent Provenzano of Highlands Ranch, CO. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, one great grandson, her sister, brother and many nieces and nephews. She lives on in the hearts and memories of her family and friends.

Family will receive friends on Thursday March 31st from 4-8pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday April 1, 10am, at St. Augustine’s Church, New City, followed by interment at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.
