Maria Bozeat

Maria Bozeat of Nyack, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 29, 2025. She is survived by her children Dawn, Anthony (daughter-in-law Melanie), and Ashley; grandchildren Gianna, Dominick and Lukas. She is also survived by siblings Joseph (Trish), JoAnn, Charlene, Charles Jr. (Gina) nephews Chris (Christina), Chuckie and Anthony. Her uncle and godfather, Doug She was predeceased by her mother, Maria.

Maria was born in Queens, NY to Maria (Spensieri) and Charles LaVine Sr. on July 30, 1970. She was the family’s backbone spending almost thirty years with Jack and raised three children as a homemaker. She cherished her time spent with family especially with her children and grandchildren who all have made her very proud. She loved dogs and treated them like her children too, including her most recent rescue, Bailey. Some of her hobbies included puzzles, grilling, gardening, swimming, supporting her grandkids sporting events and extra curricular activities, taking rides with Bailey to Dunkin Donuts and watching shows like Friends.

A funeral mass will be held Saturday May 3rd at 10 AM at Saint Ann’s Parish at 16 Jefferson Street in Nyack followed by a burial at Calvary Cemetery, 49-02 Laurel Hill Blvd. in Woodside, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made in Maria’s memory to the Dolphin Project or ASPCA.
