Maria D. Ciccia

Born on November 27, 1945 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Frank Paul and Rose Grace Falesto.

Maria loved going to the beach, especially Ocean Grove, NJ with her grandchildren. She also loved to cook for her family. She was a medical assistant for over 30 years and really loved taking care of people. Most of all, she was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother whose greatest joy came from her family.

She is survived by her children: Joseph Ciccia and his wife Robin, of New City, NY, Kristin and her husband Dominick Scotto of Greenwood Lake, NY, and John Ciccia of New York City. Five grandchildren: Dominick, Ava, Taylor, Luca and Giovanni. She is also survived by her siblings: Frank Falesto and his wife MaryLou, Joseph Falesto and his wife Eileen and her sister Patricia Frain along with many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly

She attended Grace Community Baptist Church in Washingtonville, NY.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 26th from 2-4 and 7-9, at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home, 321 S. Main St., New City, NY. A service celebrating her life will be held Friday, October 27, 2017 at 11 am, Grace Community Baptist Church, 199 Kings Highway, Warwick, NY 10990.
