Marie McCarter, 88 of Chestnut Ridge, N.Y. passed away on Saturday 8/29/2015. She was the loving wife of the late Herbert McCarter and survived by her three children James, John and Jane. Grandmother of 7 whom she deeply loved. Also survived by her mother and father-in-law Bryson and Lizzie McCarter. Brother and sister-in-laws; John and Joyce McCarter, Charlie and Faye McCarter, Joel and Ann McCarter, Grace McCarter. Predeceased by Carl McCarter, Ben and Mary McCarter, Theda (Dee) McCarter. Funeral services will be at Grigsby Chapel Cemetery, Knoxville, TN on Friday 9/4/2015 at 1:00pm.
