Marie Tillette

With profound sadness, we announce that Marie Tillette (nee Hall), a life-long resident of New City, NY, passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2021 at the age of 74. Loving wife of 30 years to Tom Morici. Loving mother to her son, John Tillette and her stepchildren, Kim Elizondo (Marcos) and Tom Morici (Michelle). Loving grandmother to Tiffany, Tyler, Steven, Lauren, Ryan, Isabella and Bianca. Loving sister to Lois Colandrea. Loving aunt to Erik Hall (Evin) and Kim Gentile (Dean) and all of her many nieces and nephews. Loving great aunt to Derik, Dylan, Kayla and Emerson. Marie is predeceased by her sister, Rae Powers and her brother, Ron Hall.

Marie was born in Nyack, NY, on September 24, 1946. She lived a great life and cared deeply for her family. Marie was very proud of her Norwegian heritage. Marie graduated from Rockland Community College. She was an exceptionally talented artist who loved to draw and paint. Marie also enjoyed gardening, reading, playing cards and cooking. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Marie will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her visitation on Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 2-3 pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service, Inc., 321 S Main Street, New City, NY. The Memorial Service will follow from 3–4 pm.
