She is survived by her three daughters, son-in-law, and daughter-in-law: Marilyn Chiriani and Junaid Dar, Diane Chiriani Russo, Cheryl Valenti, and Doreen Chiriani. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren: Megan (Sean) Belair, Joseph Chiriani, Bari (Jenna) Dar, Jaan (Arden) Dar, Mark and Olivia Russo, and Bryan and Nicholas Valenti. She is also survived by her three great grandchildren: Natalie and Jack Belair and Malena Dar. She was the guiding light of her family whom she loved so very much. Marilyn was born in Staten Island, NY, to Edward and Harriet Robison and pursued a career in art and advertising which led to her meeting her husband of 56 years, Bob.
They created a home where their loving family celebrated many occasions and enjoyed her delicious cooking that she took much pride in. She decorated their home with the art she and her husband crafted, and she continued the Robison family’s tradition of summer camping trips in her beloved Adirondack Mountains where even her grandchildren played, swam, and fished with her by their side. Marilyn was pre-deceased by her loving husband, Robert A. Chiriani, Sr., and her beloved son, Robert A. Chiriani, Jr.
A private funeral mass will be celebrated in the St. Augustine’s Church in New City followed by a burial at St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital (St Jude.org).
