Mary A. DiMartino

Mary DiMartino peacefully passed away with her family by her side on November 4, 2025 at the age of 90. Mary was born to John and Delia Driscoll on December 22, 1934. In October 1957 Mary married Angelo and they built a life together first in Brooklyn and later in Rockland County. Over the years their home was known for welcoming everyone and the memorable parties they hosted.

Mary had many roles throughout her life, though her role in her family was arguably her favorite and the one she cherished the most. Mary will be remembered for her love of children. She was known fondly as Nan not only to her grandchildren and great grandson, but also to everyone she met over the years. Mary was known for her quick wit and incredible sense of humor. You never really could tell what she was going to say, but you knew you would laugh and have a good time.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings and her husband Angelo. She is survived by her daughter Lisa, grandchildren Danielle (Jason), Nicolas (Dilma), and Cristina (Matthew), and her great grandson Angelo, as well extended family and honorary family.

A visitation will be held at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service Inc., located at 321 South Main Street, New City, NY, 10956, on November 10, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place at Ascension Cemetery Chapel, 650 Saddle River Rd, Airmont, NY, 10952, on November 11, 2025, starting at 10:30 am.

The committal service will follow at Ascension Cemetery, 650 Saddle River Rd, Airmont, NY, 10952, on November 11, 2025.
