Mary Barbara Ferry, age 84, of New City, NY passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. Barbara was a Sparkill Dominican Sister in Blauvelt, NY & her religious name was Sister Margaret Edward.She was religious until 1977 & became a guidance counselor at North Bergen School District in NJ until retirement in 2006. This loving comet in the sky is survived by her cherished longtime friend, Diane Emsworth, her nieces & their beloved spouses: Donna Daley(Larry), Maureen Horn(Jan), Patricia McNally(the late Richard), Therese Quinn (Kevin), Ann Grossbard(David), Barbara Ann Ferry, the late Michael Ferry, many great nieces & nephews grand nieces & nephews. Her Aunt, the late Mary Galvin, Her Sister,Peggy Duda, Her Brothers Edward Ferry, Robert Ferry. A Visiting for Mary will be held Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass St. Augustine Church will occur Monday, March 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM. An interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery Valhalla, NY will occur Monday, March 20, 2023.
