Last time we spoke to Mike was up in Isham Park after a 9/11 memorial years ago when we were visiting my dad...dad always spoke well of the players he coached, and Mike was one he spoke of more than once. May he rest in peace, and may we all remember Mike's time with us...

     Mike was a good friend growing up in Inwood!  He was also a great teammate when we played Gaelic football. (And we played badly!)
     We all have great memories of Mike!  God Bless you all!


I was so sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. I saw him a few  years ago at a Good Shepherd Irish football reunion at The Riverdale Steakhouse  and we chatted for a while and he was happy and doing well and showing me pictures of his family. My sincere and deepest condolences to the entire Ryan family, We had many a fun day at Gaelic Park in the bleachers cheering on our Good Shepherd team ! Wonderful memories   Also give my love to Mrs. Ryan who I remember so fondly.  God bless you all and lean on each other for support! I’m so sorry to hear about Michael’s passing. I have great memories of walking home from GSS with him, and playing basketball at the courts in Inwood. He was always kind, and a gentleman. Sending love and prayers to the entire family. God Bless you all.
