Michael Daniel Walker

Michael Daniel Walker was born on May 18, 1982. He passed away on June 14, 2011. Michael attended St. Augustine's School in New City, Clarkstown South High School in West Nyack, Rockland Community College in Suffern and New Jersey Institute of Technology. He lived in Newburgh, New York and worked as an IT Specialist. He is survived by his parents Ellen Brady Walker and Michael Gilbert Walker of New City, NY; his brothers Brian of Sydney, Australia and Matthew of Brooklyn, NY; his grandparents Daniel and Joan Brady of Sunnyside, Queens; his uncle Stephen Walker, his wife Diane of New Port Richey, FL, their children Karen, Chris and Robert; his uncle Kevin Brady and his wife Mary of Denver, CO, their children Jennifer, Katie, Daniel and Claire; his godmother and aunt Pat Brady Gangi and her husband Nick of Saratoga Springs, NY and their children Sam, Johanna and his goddaughter Mia. He was predeceased in death by his grandparents Gilbert Walker and Hilda Maldonado. Michael loved his family, music, history and science. A memorial service will be held at Risen King Alliance Church, 190 New Hempstead Road, New City, NY at 7pm on Saturday June 18th. Visitation at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service, 321 South Main Street, New City, NY on Sunday June 19th from 2-4 & 7-9. The funeral mass will be held at St. Augustine's Church, 120 South Main Street, New City, NY on Monday June 20th at 10:00am. Internment will be at St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens. Michael will be greatly missed for his kind heart and gentle spirit.
