Muriel H. Fleming

Muriel Fleming, 96, of Bardonia passed away on July 25, 2019 peacefully at Villa Marie Clair in New Jersey. Muriel was born in the Bronx on 11-JUL-1923 to the late Harriet and Joseph Dunlop. Muriel was predeceased by her husband Gerald Fleming and her beloved sisters Harriet Brown, Dorothy Hilda Mahoney, Edna Casillo, and brothers William and Quentin. Muriel is survived by her son Gerald Fleming of Stony Point (Janet) and her daughter Doris von Hacht (Will) of Glenmoore PA as well as 3 grandchildren: Erika Holland (Mark) of Dallas, Texas, Hillary Sands (Jason) of San Antonio, Texas and William H. von Hacht (Erin) of Glenmoore, Pa. as well as her four cherished great grandchildren James, Austyn, Sierra and Jack and many loving nieces.

Muriel's life was spent caring for her parents, her husband, her family and her sisters.

Visiting will be held at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home, 321 S Main Street New City NY 10956, on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 7pm - 9pm. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 10am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Cemetery of The Highlands 634 NY-32 #640 Highland Mills, NY.
