He was born in Colle Sannita in 1932 to Anthony and Maddelena DeFrancesco near Naples, Italy. Nicola worked as a pattern maker on 7th Avenue in Manhattan.
Nicola was preceded in death by his daughter Lena Ryerson and parents Anthony and Maddalena Defrancesco and is survived by his wife Ida, grand-children Angelina, Dianna and Gregory, son in law Mark, brother Frank, and niece and nephew Denise and Anthony.
Visitation will be held on March 15, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service Inc., 321 S Main St, New City, New York 10956. With mass following at St Paul's Church, 82 Lake Rd, Congers, New York 10956, and procession for burial at Ascension Cemetery, 650 Saddle River Rd, Airmont, NY 10952. Ending with a gathering in memory at La Terrazza restaurant in New City.
