Patricia M. Meagher

Patricia Marie (nee Maher) Meagher, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2010 surrounded by her family after a long battle with COPD while a patient at Duke University Medical center. Patricia was born to John A. and Alice (Mulvey) and raised in the Fordham section of the Bronx. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Brian C. Meagher, retired NYPD Sergeant; and three loving children Alison Heaton (Seth), Brian, Jr. and Justin (Ellen). She is the beloved grandmother of Colin Michael, Abigail Rose, Aidan Meagher, Margaret Jean, Ronan William, Abigael Macve, Emmet Padraig, Sarah Katherine and Thomas Francis. She is the dear sister to John Maher and Maureen Devlin. Patricia attended Saint Nicholas of Tolentine School. A licensed real estate broker in Rockland County for many years was followed by an 18 year career with the New York Telephone Company managing their properties. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday 7-9 PM and Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home, 321 S. Main Street, New City 10956. Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday 10:15AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 128 Parrott Road, West Nyack, NY 10994. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
