Philip T. Fasano

Philip T. Fasano of Tomkins Cove, NY, 59 years old passed away August 1st after a 3 year battle with cancer. Phil was born at Nyack Hospital on November 29th, 1965 to Philp and Edith (nee Osoba) Fasano. He is survived by his sister, Dawn Popkave, brother-in-law Darryl, niece Taylor, and several cousins. He was a graduate of Nyack High School and received his associate’s degree from Rockland Community College.

Phil worked as a New York State master auto inspector and was also an excavation specialist. His favorite pastimes were riding his motorcycle and quad, his love for his truck, and anything to do with nature and the outdoors. He treasured spending time with his friends and his beloved cat.

Visitation Services will be held at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service Inc., located at 321 South Main Street, New City, New York 10956 on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 at 10:00 am at the funeral home, followed by burial at Gethsemane Cemetery, Congers, New York directly after.

In lieu of flowers, Phil’s wish was that any donations may be made to local animal shelters in need.
