Raffaela "Rae" Fucci, passed away on April 3, 2013 at the age of 85. She was born on May 27, 1927 in Manhattan to Jerome and Cecelia Candido. Rae enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She also loved creative arts, especially crocheting and arts and crafts. She will be missed by all who knew her. Rae is survived by her husband of 63 years, Arnaldo Fucci; children, Arnold and Judy of Bardonia, Robert and Stephanie of Cortlandt Manor, and Renee and Frank DeFalco of Congers; grandchildren, Arnold, Daniel, Matthew, and Jennifer Fucci, Brittany, Kimberlee, and Celine Fucci, and Samantha and Mark DeFalco. Visitation will be held on Saturday and Sunday, April 6-7th from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 8th, at 11am, at St. Paul's Church in Congers. Entombment will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Nanuet. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rae Fucci's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
