Rev. James Brendan Curran, SBD passed away on September 3, 2012 in St. Petersburg, FL. He was born on May 27, 1921 in Aunascaul, Co. Kerry, Ireland to James Sr. and Helen (Kennedy) Curran. He was a Salesian (Beckford, Gloucestershire, England) for 71 years. He took his final vows in July 1947. He was ordained on July 16, 1951. He is survived by three nieces who live in Ireland and England. He will be missed by all who knew him. Family will receive friends on Friday from 4pm-6pm & 7-9pm at the Marian Shrine, Stony Point, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, 10am, at the Marian Shrine followed by interment at the Salesian Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
