Robert J. Finizio, "Bob", age 70 of New City passed away on February 26, 2017. He is survived by his four siblings; Diane, Carol, Ron, and Donna. He was a very beloved uncle to eight nieces and six nephews. In his lifetime he lived in every borough of New York City, except Staten Island. He graduated from Fordham University and obtained a Master's Degree from Columbia University. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in Intelligence and Interrogations and a very brilliant and patient math teacher.
There will be a short visiting at Higgins Funeral Home in New City on Saturday from 9am to 10am followed by a funeral mass at St. Augustine Church in New City at 11am.
