Bob was a Life Member of the Rockland County Umpires Association for Softball and Baseball and a 20-year member for the Rockland Hudson Valley Football Officials.
Outside of his community service, Bob found solace in the simple joys of life –from indulging in 50s/60s music on the jukebox to collecting baseball memorabilia and first edition stamp envelopes. He cherished Sunday mornings at the firehouse, sharing laughter and camaraderie with fellow members over coffee and bagels.
Bob's love for the New York Yankees and Rangers was unwavering, and he relished attending games with his family or watching the games on Television.
