Rocco R. Savino passed away on August 18, 2013. He was born on August 12, 1920 in the Bronx, NY to Peter and Chiarina Savino. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy from 1942-45. He was the owner of Commodore Radio in the Bronx, NY. He loved to dance and enjoyed spending time with his family. Rocco is survived by his children, Christopher Savino and his wife Pat, Ginny (Candy) Gagan and her husband Michael; grandchildren, Christopher, Kevin, Matthew, Laurie Selvaggi and her husband Riuccio, Michael Gagan and his wife Amy; great grandchildren, Nicholas and Aiden Selvaggi; and his sister, Catherine Ferriter.
Family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, 10am at St. Augustine's Church.
