Rosemary B Curry

Rosemary was born on December 19, 1955 to Anthony and Lucy Spinelli in Astoria, Queens. She cherished her childhood in Queens with her parents and older brothers, Joseph and Anthony. After completing high school in three years at Holy Cross Academy, Rosemary graduated from Wood Secretarial School and worked as a legal secretary and office manager for many years. Rosemary married the love of her life, Thomas, on October 18, 1980. After fourteen years of marriage, Rosemary and Thomas were blessed with their only child, Mary Teresa, in 1994. Rosemary truly enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends, helping others, watching baseball, cooking and traveling. Rosemary will be remembered for her love of family and friends, her incredible strength, and her unending kindness. Rosemary is survived by her husband, Thomas, her daughter, Mary (William), and her brothers, Joseph (L’Tanya) Spinelli and Anthony (Raquel) Spinelli. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends. She was truly one of a kind and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Mass of Christian Burial and interment will be held on Friday, 10am, at St. Anthony’s in Nanuet, New York.
