

Roslyn was born in the Bronx on January 3, 1926 to Ralph and Christine (Pace) Montuori. She graduated from Walton High School and married her childhood sweetheart in 1948.
She was a member of the New City Seniors, and the New City Garden Club, and she also served as a volunteer in many organizations including the Catholic Big Sisters, Candy Stripers, and Girl Scouts of America. Roz was an election poll worker, and for 25 years she was employed at Finkelstein Memorial Library. Her greatest joy came from her faith, family, and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years S.G. (Ness) Nesselson, her devoted daughters JoAnn Schoolcraft, Christine Early (David), and Susan Stegman (Stephen), and the loves of her life, seven grandchildren; Krista (Pete), Nicole, Michael (Kristen), Allison, Lindsay (Billy), Kelly, and Erin, as well as three precious great grandchildren; Vivian, Madison, and Andrew. She is also survived by her sister Gloria Canu and she is predeceased by her sister Mildred. In addition, she adored her many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 22, 2016, from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 10am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, West Nyack, NY followed by internment at Fred Loescher Veteran's Cemetery.
