Salvatore T. Olivieri, 74, of Congers, NY passed away peacefully on December 18, 2016. Originally from Clason Point, Bronx, NY. He served in the US Army from 1960-1962 and joined the NYPD in 1970. He was an avid NY Yankees fan. He was the son of the late Giovanni and Caremella Olivieri.
He is survived by his brother Louis and his sister Anna Marie and his loving sons Patrick and Giovanni. He is a also survived by his former wife Carol Oliveri and step-daughter Lisa Barnable and grandson Luciano. He is predeceased by his parents.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at St. Paul's Church in Congers, NY followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery in Queens, NY.
