Sonny Yannone of New Rochelle, NY, 89 years old, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 3, 2025. He is survived by his Son Wayne and daughter Lois. He is also survived by his granddaughter Alexa and son in law Anthony and 2 great grandchildren (Bryce and Colt). He was predeceased in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Muriel.
He cherished his time spent with family especially with his grandchildren who all have made him very proud.
Sonny was born in the Bronx, NY to Eva and Jack Yannone on February 29, 1936. Sonny married his sweetheart (Muriel) in 1955. Sonny ran a very successful wholesale meat business until he retired.
A wake will be held Wednesday August, 6 from 3PM-7PM at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home. Entombment will be on Thursday at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, NY.
