Stephen (Steve) Paul Logan, age 68, passed away in Florida on Friday September 3, 2021. Steve was born on December 9, 1952 in Union City, NJ to the late Robert and Catherine (Green) Logan. He was one of ten children and spent his childhood in Union City where he graduated both elementary and high school. He later resided in Fort Lee, NJ, White Plains, NY and most recently New Port St. Richey, Florida.
Steve is survived by three brothers, Robert, Ronald and Gerald Logan and one sister, Susan Logan. He is predeceased by his brothers Joseph, Terrence, Donald and Daniel Logan and his sister Dolores McArdle. He was a very devoted and beloved uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
Steve was a caring and loving son, brother, uncle and friend throughout his life and to those who were so fortunate as to meet or know him, these relationships will be everlasting and he will never be forgotten but always missed.
He recently resided in New Port St. Richey where he developed many friendships. He was taught to play Bacci and became an avid player. Steve also enjoyed taking road trips to the Florida Keys and he did so often.
Steve was deeply concerned for children in need and so donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital would be sincerely appreciated.
Services were held at The Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home 321 South Main Street, New City, NY 10956. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony’s Church 36 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, NY 10954 on Monday September 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM with the burial to follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
