

Stephen Mancision of New City, died on October 31, 2015. He was 96 years old. Steve was born June 14, 1919 in Bronx, NY to Roman and Mary Mancision. He lived in Rockland Co. since 1981 and formerly lived in the Kingsbridge Section of the Bronx. Steve was employed by the NYC Department of Sanitation and upon retirement worked as a Security Guard at Prentice Hall and Dominican College. He is predeceased by his wife Cecilia of 64 years. Steve and Cele loved to dance. He is survived by his son Robert and wife Eileen of Yonkers, NY; daughters- Jeanne Mancision and husband Edward Botteri of Hackensack NJ, Lynn and husband Joe Barral of Norwood, NJ, and Mary Kay and husband Arthur Klepper of River Edge, NJ and seven grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Higgins Funeral Home in New City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10AM in St. Augustine's Church in New City with burial to follow in the F. Loescher R.C. Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Parkinson’s Foundation or United Hospice of Rockland, 11 Stokum Lane, New City, NY 10956.
