Theresa H. Murdock

Theresa H. Murdock of Spring Valley, NY, 99 years old, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2016. She was born on July, 27, 1917 to Frank and Matilda Pasenat. She married Edwin F. Murdock Sr. on November 1, 1936. Theresa was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary Hillcrest Fire Dept. She was also a life member of the Nauraushawn #371 order of the Eastern Star, where she served as past matron. Her greatest joys came from being with her family. She is survived by her son Edwin Murdock Jr. (Linda), her daughter Janet, her son Robert Murdock Sr. (Jean). She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her loving husband Edwin Murdock Sr. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Family will receive friend on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm; at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home, in New City, NY. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 11am, at Higgins Funeral Home, New City, NY. Internment will follow at Brick Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ladies Auxiliary of Hillcrest Fire Company, located at 300 N. Main St. Spring Valley, NY, 10977.
