Thomas Edward Galligan passed away on October 8, 2011. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 19, 1935 to Thomas and Margaret. Tom was an avid sports fan who collected a lot of sports memorabilia of the NY Mets, Brooklyn Dodgers, and the NY Giants Football Team.
Tom is survived by his children Thomas and his wife Susan, Michael and his wife Shari, Diane and her husband Peter Gillespie, and Kimberly and her husband Joe Cicala. He will be missed dearly by his grandchildren Samantha, Robert, Jack, Lauren, Michael, Danielle, Kayleigh, Louis, and Ellen. Also surviving are his sisters Peggy Galligan, Joan Dillion, and Pat McCarthy and many nieces and nephews.
Family may receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 11am at St. Augustine's Church followed by a private cremation.
