Thomas Joseph Rafferty, Jr. passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 31 at his home in Albuquerque, NM with his devoted girlfriend, Kathleen Wade by his side. Thomas, formerly from the Bronx, NY and son to Irish immigrants, Thomas Joseph Rafferty, Sr. and Eveline Rafferty (McLaughlin) is survived by his daughters, Lori Csencsics and Tara Anderson and his son, Tommy Rafferty, his five grandchildren, Shannon Lynn Voelke, Eddie Anderson, Ashley Belmont, Leanne and Thomas Rafferty. He was a great grandfather to Shannon’s daughters, Madison and Brooke and Ashley’s son Mason. He is also survived by his twin sister, Kay Maloney and his nephew and nieces, Joseph Maloney, Donna Castellano and Tracey Sundberg. Tom served his country in the U.S. Army’s 37th Signal Battalion 1953-1956 and was deployed to Germany during his service. He loved the beach and fishing and had the gift of the gab in telling a story. He will be missed by his family and friends.
