William (Bill) Brownsell of Spring Valley, NY, 60 years old, passed away on April 7, 2016. He was born on August 27, 1955 to Cazilie and Charles Brownsell. Bill grew up in New City and later moved to Spring Valley. He graduated from Clarkstown South High school. He was a member of Spring Valley Hook and Ladder Fire Department for many years and was a devoted Scout leader to troop 85. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, and feeding the birds. He was an avid Mets fan but his greatest joys came from his family. He is survived by his wife Terry, son Craig, brother Jim, and mother Cazilie. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Logan and Kaylee. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Family will receive friends on Sunday April 10th from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, 10am, St. Augustine’s Church, New City, followed by interment at Summit Park Cemetery located at 680 New Hempstead, Spring Valley.
