Yvonne Calise

Vonny is survived by her brother Frank and his wife Patricia of Pearl River, her brother Michael and his wife Kelley of Nanuet, and her niece and nephews, Christine, Anthony, Carl and Max, whom she loved and adored deeply. She is predeceased by her loving and devoted father Anthony. She will enter the gates of heaven hand in hand with her loving mother Barbara.

Yvonne loved helping other people. She worked for the Rockland County Children Services for over 30 years. She cherished the work she did, because she was able to assist others by placing children in loving foster homes. Although she loved her work, Yvonne’s biggest love in life was the love she had for her family. Any free time she had she spent with them. They were her passion and reason for living.

Family will receive friends on Monday, February 18th at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home, in New City, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, February 19th 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, West Nyack. Burial to follow at Ascension Cemetery, Monsey, NY.
