He is survived by a Son, John (Karen) Arkesteyn and 3 Grandchildren, Caroline, Lillian and Cameron all of Wayzata and by his Brother, William (Marie) Arkesteyn of Livonia, Michigan and 9 Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death by his Wife of 63 years, Diana Marie (nee Saundry) and his Brother, Henry (Dorothy) Arkesteyn.
Born January 10, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan to Henry and Emma (Bosch) Arkesteyn. After High School Casey completed a four year apprenticeship at General Motors. Then, despite a job related deferment from military service, he enlisted in the Navy and served as an aviator during WWII. He married Marie on September 11, 1948. Casey was employed by Michigan Bell for 35 years. In retirement he volunteered extensively both in Michigan and Florida. He and Marie enjoyed traveling throughout in the US and Europe. Casey also enjoyed an annual fishing trip to Canada for many years with his fishing buddies.
