Daniel/Francis was born in Minneapolis on August 27, 1963. He will be remembered for his kind spirit, unique sense of humor, and love for all living creatures.
Daniel was preceded in death by his mother, Arlene DuChene, and many beloved pet companions. He is survived by his father, Harold DuChene; stepmother, Julie DuChene; sister, Paula DuChene; brothers Steve (Peggy) DuChene and Jason (Emily) DuChene; as well as his nieces and nephews: Amy, Molly, Katie, Chris, RJ, Melissa, Jordan, Cadence, and Presley. He also leaves behind many great nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Growing up, Daniel had a passion for bowling, lawn care, and most notably, his deep love for animals. From dogs to snakes and lizards, Daniel spent much of his time caring for and adopting his many animal companions, creating a home filled with love and life. His selfless nature and the joy he found in nurturing others, both human and animal, made him a cherished member of his family and community.
Daniel will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched with his kindness and generosity.
A celebration of life will be held at Kapala Glodek Malone Funeral Home in New Hope on April 11, 2025 from 4-7PM.
