Preceded in death by his parents, Myra and William Lilley; brother and sisters.
Survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Helen; children, Jean Hansen, Barb Lilley, Greg (Linda) Lilley, Doug (Cheryl) Lilley, Jim (Heidi) Lilley; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many loved nieces and nephews.
George was a 20-year employee of the Star Tribune as a pressman and a 20-year member of the New Hope Fire Department. George was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #3656, the American Legion #230 and Charles Knaeble VFW Post #494.
Visitation Friday, 4-7 PM with a prayer service at 5:30 PM, Kapala-Glodek Malone Funeral Home, 7800 Bass Lake Road, New Hope. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 11 AM, Church of St. Raphael, 7301 Bass Lake Road, Crystal, with visitation one hour prior. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery.
