James E Balder

James E. Balder, age 88 Dayton MN, passed away April 19, 2022. Preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers. James (Jim) began working in data processing while in the Army in 1950 and was in the first programming class in 1958. He worked IT his entire professional career until he retired in July 31, 1995. Survived of his wife of 65 years Alberta; 2 daughters, Cindy & Rene; 3 sons, Jim (Becky), Tim (Tammy) & Rick (Karen); 9 grandchildren, Jamie, Dan, Jake, Ruth, Tom, Brandy, Mike, Zach & Kyle; 2 great-grandchildren, Dorothy & Freja. An evening visitation for James will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kapala Glodek Malone Funeral Home, 7800 Bass Lake Rd, New Hope, MN 55428. A Mass of Christian burial will occur Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Church of St Raphael, 7301 Bass Lake Rd, New Hope, MN. with visitation one hour prior to Mass beginning at 9 AM at the church . Burial will occur Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM at St Patrick Cemetery, 7286 Duelm Rd NE, Sauk Rapids, MN.
