A skilled electrician by trade and a proud member of IBEW Local Union 292, Jamie was also a gifted baker and a passionate gardener. In recent years, he took on the role of full-time caregiver for his beloved mother, Lynn. The selfless love and compassion he showed in that role stood as a testament to the depth of his character.
James was talented in the kitchen - his banana bread won a 4th place ribbon at the Minnesota State Fair on his very first entry. He also had a love for politics, plants, and his beloved cats.
James is survived by his loving mother, Lynn Beneke, and cherished family members and friends. Preceded in death by his father, John P. Beneke. He will be remembered for his humor, great gift buying, and his unwavering care for his mom.
