Janet was born to Frank and Helen Dziewior on September 14, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois. The family moved to Minneapolis in 1936. Janet was a graduate of St. Margaret’s Academy, Class of 1948; and attended the University of Minnesota. For many years, she worked selling cosmetics and clothing in stores in Minneapolis, Honolulu and Chicago. She retired from J.C. Penney; and was a well-known long time resident of The River Towers in downtown Minneapolis.
Janet was a woman of great style, intelligence and charm. She was a devout Roman Catholic. She loved her family. She bore the suffering of her last months of life with dignity. She was not only appreciative of her caregivers, she was interested in their lives. She listened to people and found the beauty in each of us.
In addition to her Parents, Janet was preceded in death by her Husband, Mark Christopherson.
She will be deeply missed by Daughter, Eugenia Hedlund; Grandchildren, Dylan (Nicky Sunde) Thomas and Claire Thomas; Great-grandchildren, River and LolaThomas; Brothers, Robert Dziewior and James Dziewior; a Niece and Three Nephews.
