Joan Marie Hornby, age 92, of Crystal, Minnesota passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Joan was born August 22, 1929.

She is preceded in passing by her loving husband of 50 years, Frank Hornby; father, Vern Ressler; sister, Vernice Robinson; and many loved relatives and cherished friends.

Joan is survived by her son, John "JR" Hornby; daughter, Dixie Lee Hornby; nieces and nephews, grand-niece and nephews, and great-grand-nieces and nephews; cousins, Marion Peterson of Seattle, Lorraine Schrieber of Crystal, and Barbara Kletchka of Golden Valley; dear friends and neighbors.

Join us to Celebrate Joan's Life on Thursday, September 30th, at Kapala-Glodek-Malone Funeral Home, 7800 Bass Lake Road, New Hope, MN. Visitation will be held from 10 - 11 am, with service at 11:00 am. Final Interment will take place at Fort Snelling in the near future.

Joan's family would like to thank the staff at Sunrise of Golden Valley for their compassionate care, dedication, and kindness. They are greatly appreciated.
