Kathleen "Kathy" Heinle

Kathleen Kay (Johnson) Heinle, 74, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at her home in Maple Grove. Kathy was born in Montevideo, Minnesota on October 31, 1947 to James and Delores (Allen) Johnson. She graduated from Montevideo High School in 1966. Kathy was united in marriage to Allen Heinle in 1973. They welcomed their son Chad in 1980. Kathy spent her working years with Red Owl, Snyder Drug and Advantage Sales & Marketing where many co-workers became lifelong friends. In her free time, Kathy was a voracious reader and an avid puzzler. She had a gregarious laugh and loved to use it. Kathy was a kind and gentle soul whose presence will be missed tremendously by all who knew her. She was a loving, supportive mother and, quite possibly, the proudest grandmother on the planet. Kathy also enjoyed close relationships with many long-time neighbors in her Maple Grove cul-de-sac and she greatly valued their companionship and assistance in the years following the death of her husband. Kathy is survived by her son Chad, daughter-in-law Mollee and grandchildren Tanner and Pippa. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. In lieu of flowers, Kathy’s family would welcome donations to the American Heart Association in her name. A celebration of life gathering for Kathy will be held Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kapala Glodek Malone Funeral Home, 7800 Bass Lake Rd, New Hope, MN 55428.
