Age 70, of New Hope
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 27, 2020
Preceded in death by her Parents, Bud and Darlene Ankney; Nephew, Jason Murphy; Great-nephew, Connor Murphy.
Survived by her Loving Husband of 38 years, Rolf Benson; Son, Scott Benson; Siblings, Trudy Harstad, Lynn Minikus, Mary (Bill) Murphy, and Ken (Brenda) Ankney; four Nieces; three Nephews; further survived by other Relatives and Friends.
Kathy retired from Northwestern Bell Phone Company / Qwest after 30 years. Kathy was involved with Hug-A-Bear and found great joy in creating bears and other crafts for those in need. She also donated her time to many other organizations as her way of giving back. Kathy enjoyed all types of crafting but above all she cherished the time spent with her family.
Kathy’s family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Brookdale Plymouth, Brookdale Hospice and Touching Hearts for the kind and compassionate care provided to Kathy.
A Celebration of Life Service for Kathy will be 11:30 am Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Kapala Glodek-Malone Funeral Home (7800 Bass Lake Rd. New Hope) Memorial Visitation will be 10:30 am until time of service at the funeral home.
Interment Hillside Cemetery
