Pamela A. Clifton

Clifton, Pamela A. Age 70, of Minneapolis, on 9/4/2014. Preceded in death by her father Ernest Egeland. Survived by her mother Eleanor Egeland; children Michelle (Karl) Clifton-Soderstrom, Nathan (Sara), Teri (Adam Lindstrom); grandchildren Joseph, Andrew, Hannah, Rachel, Johannes, John & Desmond; siblings Byron Egeland (Soile Anderson) & Ellen Seuferer (Richard Tatman). Pam was born 5/19/1944 in Roland, Iowa. Her love for children led her to teach youth in Minneapolis and other places around the world that lacked special education teachers. She coached basketball, volleyball and tennis, retiring from Hennepin County Home School, a juvenile de-tention home. As a teacher she touched many lives with her enthu-siasm and compassion. She received her BA/M.Ed. from the U of Minn. She enjoyed participating in sports, biking, photography, reading and travel (Hawaii, Australia and Thailand). Most of all she loved being with her family at her cabin up North. Services will be held at 11 AM with prayer and singing at 10:30 AM, Saturday 9/20/14 at Brookdale Covenant Church, 5139 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Center. Private inurnment.
