Dick and I were classmates in college, Saint John's University, Class of 1973.
He was a true gentleman with an incredibly sharp sense of humor. Great company to keep, and I feel fortunate to have known him.

May he rest in peace.

Daddy, I miss you badly. I wish you could read this, but I know you can hear me in Heaven. You are my best friend and I will miss hearing your daily wisdom and advice on life. You are my shining star and hearing your voice was a bright spot in my day. I am grateful for our daily walks we had and all your silly jokes helping me get through the hard times. You are the most selfless person, giving yourself to everyone who needed you. I hope I can carry with me the selflessness that you showed me every day. Love you and miss you.

The picture I included was from the Grand Opening of the Bell Museum this year.

So very sorry to hear of your loss. Losing a parent is one of the most difficult things we must endure. I hope that you're surrounded by friends and family, and that you're able to use this time to come closer together and think about all the good memories you'll always carry to sustain you through the hard times.
