Ron enjoyed baking and was a gifted cake decorator. He was an electrician and enjoyed working for Pete's Repair for many years. He was fond of time spent outdoors, fishing, hunting, and traveling, but most of all he loved his motorcycles.
Ron was burned in 2013 and was our hero, as he wasn't expected to make it out of the hospital. He was a kind and gentle person who was loved by all. He will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in passing by his mother, Carmella Setten; father, Leon Setten; niece, Dawn Setten; and grand-nephew, Zachary Pitlick.
Ron is survived by his siblings, Vince, Jerome, Larry (Punky), and Jim (JoAnne); 8 nieces; 6 nephews; 10 grand-nieces; 11 grand-nephews; 8 great-nieces; 4 great-nephews; and extended family and friends.
Join us to celebrate Ron's life on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at Kapala Glodek Malone Funeral Home, 7800 Bass Lake Rd, New Hope, MN. Visitation with refreshments at 4 pm, with memory sharing at 6:30 pm.
