Passed away peacefully on May 3, 2020 at the age of 94.
She was preceded in death by beloved husband, Al; brothers Jerome Lappen and Jack Lappen.
Survived by children Geri Bross (Dave); Colleen Boughner; Tom Boughner (Mary Jo); well loved dog Ginger; grandchildren Brian (Lynn), Kevin (Emily), Mark (Janna) and eight wonderful great grandchildren.
Rosemary, known as "Red" to her friends, grew up in Northeast Minneapolis and attended St Anthony of Padua Catholic School. She met and fell in love with Al and they were married in 1947.
While working at the Cream of Wheat Company at age 18, Rosemary met eight women who became the "Club". They were close friends who met for monthly lunches, dinners and many other trips and adventures for over 70 years.
Rosemary was a great cook and baker. She enjoyed reading, traveling, shopping and spending time at the lake. The one thing she enjoyed most of all throughout her life was getting together with family and friends. Rosemary will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
We want to thank the staff from North Memorial Hospice and St. Therese Oxbow, for the wonderful care they gave. They were a blessing to our mother and our family.
There will be a private funeral.
A memorial gathering will be held at a future time.
